Corporation Tax

We consider that the preparation of accounts and the calculation of corporation tax is an integrated procedure. We do not therefore have separate accountancy and taxation staff.

All staff that prepare company accounts are trained to review the overall effect of the profits on the tax payable.

All final accounts are checked and approved at partner level before they are submitted.

• Our accounts preparation procedure calculates the corporation tax payable and this is checked with HM Revenue & Customs before we finalise the accounts.
• We give full advice on the payment of directors’ salaries and fees and the distribution of profits by way of dividend.
• We complete most of our company tax returns on-line to ensure accurate transmission of the return to HM Revenue & Customs.
• Clients are always advised of their tax liability before they have to approve their accounts.
• On the rare occasions that there are queries from HM Revenue and Customs regarding the accounts or corporation tax return we deal with these on your behalf.
